    Change of Blades

I just had a similar experience. I was traveling and was afraid of hainvg my Feathers confiscated, so I brought some older Merkurs. They gave me a smoother shade with less irritation that I had remembered, without the occasional reminders of how sharp the Feathers can be. After shaving with this for four days I went back to the Feathers and noticed I now have irritation I did not have before. I think the change in blades results in a change in technique, not necessarily better. I'll watch for a few more days and see if I get the lighter touch back. Interestingly enough, I did not cut myself in a few normally troublesome spots.

Search for Howard1616 on eBay, he's a good vendor and was selling 100 Sharp blades for $12.99, shipping included. I bought some from him, and delivery was very quick indeed.
