I'm going to have to try this ad tag line on my wife the next time I need to justify another shaving purchase…..

I wouldn't mind having a Seaforth mug... that looks cool.

I think that bunch was miserable to start with. Poor girl. She is just trying to bring joy and happiness to their sour expressions. I bet plenty of our members would have given her a much happier expression upon receipt of those razors!

Sadly I think the costs have somewhat increased for all of them but they are nice to look at ... and maybe she will take the hint! :happy088:

    Good Lord.....

I can remember seeing many of these ads first hand in magazines and the Kansas City newspaper many, many years ago.
Wouldn't it be neat to re-publish some of these in a paper or magazine today just to see what folks would say?

That would cause some discussion amongst those who do not understand! :signs136:

I can remember a bottle that looked strikingly similar to the one in this ad setting on my Dads dresser.....

I love these ads. Sheds some light on why my brothers and I were always given aftershave in our christmas stockings, even when we were 7. It seems that in the pre-cart days aftershaves and razors were traditional Christmas gifts for men.
