There have been posts that give measurements for various blade gaps, but blade gap is only part of the equation. Sure, razor X may have the same blade gap as razor Y, but they will shave different because of different head geometry, different weight, different handle lengths that will result in a different center of balance, different amount of bend on the blade causing a different angle of attack. Not to mention how you use razor X may differ from the technique employed by the user of razor Y.
Really makes you wish it would be as easy to clean away signs of aging and 'gunk' on us as people as well I could do with a re-plating...I'm thinking rhodium.
Funky to fantastic, nice job! I read recently that Gillette never specified that adjustments should be made with the razor closed or open. I always do it open just because it's smoother and easier.
Well it is now 'off my hands'. Handed it off to a buddy downtown who is interested in getting into wetshaving. Worst deal ever - all I got was a cup of coffee worth $1.90
I can't say any more, I don't know what's going on I found this post and several others in my Bulk Mail folder. I guess Firefox and Mozilla Thunderbird struck again.
