So, help me out, please. Clubman - this is the company, right? Pinaud - what exactly is "pinaud"? I see Pinaud as a scent of its own - what I use. Then I see a bottle that says Pinaud Lilac. Or Pinaud Lime Sec. Thanks in advance, guys!
Ed Pinaud, from France, made products in France marketed to high end customers. When he began manufacturing in the USA he shifted markets to Barbershops. Pinaud is the company. Clubman is one of the scents. Tapatalk Via Kyocera
Ohhhhhhh. So I have it backward. I thought Clubman was the company name. So I use Clubman, by Pinaud, aftershave. Not Pinaud, by Clubman. That makes more sense.
Nevermind. I got it. Clubman is Pinaud's entire shaving and grooming line. And the Clubman "generic" is the classic scent, while the other scents are STILL in the Clubman line of Pinaud's products, just different scents. Guess I could have researched a bit more before posting, but maybe this will help anyone else out who has these burning questions like I do LOL.
GMC, Chevrolet, Caddilac, Buick, Geo, Corvette... Pinaud is the parent company. The Clubman line includes soap, powder, shampoo, mustache wax, etc. Tapatalk Via Kyocera

You're welcome. I'm a fan and owner of several Pinaud aftershave products. Currently in my den; Clubman (classic barbershop scent - your grandfather's AS), Special Reserve (tobacco & leather - think; Indiana Jones), Lilac Vegetal (The VEG, are you Chosen?), Lime Sec (Jolly Rancher candy), & Citrus Musk (longer lasting lime). Several of my local supply stores stock their products. They are inexpensive and don't skimp on the fragrance oils for generally long lasting effect.
You say perfect now, but let me confuse you more by adding a plug for my thread here titled The Ed Pinaud Clubman Cavalcade Of Sports( a take of the Gillette Cavalcade Of Sports in the 1960's(maybe late 50's too for all I know). It's a "just for fun" thread.
