Some people have said this is a 46-47 and others a 48-51. What do you think ? Here is some evidence and arguments: Notched center bar(though it really doesn't look like a notched center bar, I just looks like its missing the butterflies), like a 48-51. On Blade tray “PAT. NOS. ON PACKAGE” like a 46-47 (Not visible in Pic) no knurling on upper band like a 46-47. I haven't been able to fine another example like it searching the web or on Mr Razor
Not sure, but it might be a case of a transition between the two years. Using up all the old parts before breaking out the new ones.
I agree. It's a '48, made with some leftover parts from the '46-'47 run. Gillette was not in the habit of wasting parts.
There's a reason I'm an administrative assistant and not a comedian! I have yet to figure out that reason, though.
