I just read through the rankings. I've only tried a few different blades at this point but I'd rank them in the same order. Thanks GD. I think I'm going to get some of your higher ranked blades to try out since my sampler didn't come with most of them. Personna Med Preps seemed to do pretty well for you and apparently they're the same as Labs so I think I'll get a pack of each just to try out soon.

A late thank you from me GDCarrington, for taking the trouble to perform the tests and make the data available. The tests were considered to have limitations because of YMMV. In my case the test has been most helpful. I was surprised to see that the findings in this test usually corresponded with my own experience. Maybe I share some blade relevant characteristics with the tester and when I used the test for future blade purchases I was not disappointed. (I started DE shaving recently and a did my own testing in a different way because I wanted to rule out the variables that change every day especially in the case of a relative beginner.)

Just come across this. Fantastic piece of work you have created here. It made for fascinating reading and has opened my eyes to the fact that there are a lot of good blades available that I had never heard of before today. Thanks for doing this test and producing this epic work.
Wow! Thanks for all the work on this. I'm still going back and forth on the charts but will be ordering some Super-max Super Platinum to start my quest, for my perfect shave.
It might be limiting in one sense, but gives a great example to those who favor such a rigorous approach.
After using a few blades including some of those 100 Super Max I find that after getting over my fear of trying the Feather blades I had for a month, I ordered 100. It works great for my light touch and they now last me 3 shaves each. YMMV
