Not in focus but still decadent. I had a powerful urge to use Castel Forbes today, so I did. It is just for a day and then tomorrow will start the next soap in the focus.

Today was CF, Shavemac silver tip and a Hart 7/8. Everything felt right today, the edge was very smooth and very sharp, the lather was awesome and no operator error. The result was an epic shave. A+ across the board.

Almost, just have to work today. Then I will take my woman to dinner to eat kalbi, 갈비. Everything else taken care of... are you ready? You definitely look like the preparations for a white Christmas are complete?

One of the nice things about time off is having time for a second SOTD when you feel like it. Tonight went pretty well. I can play in the DFS ballpark with this razor as long as I have the time. That is part of the reason why I quit doing it the last go around was that I was too busy to do it often, and it got somewhat frustrating.

B and M is a good soap for this kind of slow, learning process shaving. It likes water, so you can run it wet and thin, and it can sit on your face for a long time without disappearing while you fiddle around with a trouble spot. This was my last shave's worth of soap on this sample. A strong cologne scent is the best that I can describe it; nice enough, but I wouldn't buy a tub of it.

Jared, I really like your collage style pictures. They do a great job of highlighting your setups.

What an outstanding shave this evening. The Feather Super Pro in the Goose is still trucking along with no signs of giving up anytime soon. 30 second load (give or take a few seconds) on the MDC with the Stirling 24mm Fan yielding enough lather to shave a platoon of wookies. 3 easy drama free passes gave me a BBS shave. Finished off my shave with a cold water rinse, a splash of Thayers, another cold water rinse, and to tie it all together, a heaping handful of liquid gold....The Veg!

My brother has shaved with Col Conk almond for over a decade. And I know for a fact he has tried other soaps, because he PIFed me some he didn't like including a tub of Proraso. He just says the Col Conk is cheap, readily available locally, and works for him, and that's good enough.

Based on years of experience, I'm proficient with a spoon. Here's my take.

I pulled out my Jethro-sized cereal bowl and my speed-spoon with custom grips this morning, and my Bride set the shredded wheat and milk on the table. I said, "Baby, you know I'm against the grain. Where's the Cap'n Crunch?" So, she went back to the pantry and grabbed Murica's best cereal in the giant family-sized box for me. I know, she's a keeper. :love055::love055::love055::love055::love055:

By the way, eating my morning cereal is the best three hours of my day. Now, what was your question?
