I'm fortunate in that Derby blades work well for me in all of my DE razors. Everything from Tech and Krona to SS, Slims, Supers, EJ, R41(borrowed from battle munky), Merkur slant, Neillite 400, and a pair of unknown make bakelite 3 piece DEs. Feathers are great for me in some razors, such as tech, black handle flare tip, and slim/supers set on 3, but they tear me up in the Feather popular razor, EJ, Slant, etc. Personnas work well for me in some razors, but chew me up in others. Sharks work well for me in most DEs. Racers tear me up in Gillette DEs but are PFM (Pure ------- Magic) in an EJ. Wal Mart Wilkies work well for me in most razors, but only last 3 or 4 shaves. Not bad, considering the price is so much lower than cartridges. I have some old Topco Valiant blades that look like old ASR blades and are fantastic in every one of my DEs. Blades. People either love 'em or they hate 'em. YMMV to the tenth power.
