Well both Valet Autostrop arrived - this one in gold and the other in Chrome plate. First the gold - really remarkable condition for something this old - received as you see it here with no cleaning required. Different handle than its chrome brother - squared rather than round. First model of this classic SE razor - thinking 1920's? Almost too nice to use - chrome pics will follow. Funny how large the case looks without a point of reference - next to last pic puts it in perspective. Really rather tiny!
... And here is his brother in Chrome. Blade stop was broken on one side so was provided free by seller - just paid $3.94 for shipping. Still a nice display piece for the office....
