I just aquired a fatboy D-4 does anyone know what date of manufacture that reffers to, when i get pics of the fatty ill post, its super clean and im sure it;ll be a real shaver, im waiting for some wiskers to grow in to take my first DE shave, Grottolord

i had nothing to do wiith the boy not my ofspring even nicer in person, the razor was completely disasembled and replated, very happy with the codition, will let you men know what i think of my first DE shave tommorow since im used to shaving with a straight i thought id set the razor on 3-4 dont think that will be too aggressive as im used to a bare blade, what do you think,?
yes im absolutly insane,arnt we all, how many De's do you have, have you ever added up the money youve spent on your razors? we are all insane, but Happy!!!!!!!!!!! by the way i got no response on the setting i should use on the fatboy with a wilkenson blade, again im used to bare straight razor blades is 4-5 too agressive? 4-5 should be just fine. Just remember to set the dial with the doors open, then tighten it up. If you want to change the setting, open the doors first. Enjoy-

THE SHAVE This was my first DE shave, comming over from the Straight side, As always Hot shower Biggelo shave cream in Mug/Custard bowel scuttle Fat Boy Wilkinson Blade Wtg 4 Atg 7 I know the settings seem a little extreem but dont forget im comming over from the "Straights" Xtg 9 Geo Trumper Coral Skin Food,,( I Really love this Stuff) Pinnauds Virgin Island Bay Rum As this was my first De shave i was Surprised at 4 i didnt even feel the blade on my face, at 7 i could feel blade but very smooth,now at 9 thats close to what im used to, over all the shave was very nice and it was a BBS shave, i was pleasntly surprised, I think i like it, cant wait to grow more beard and try it again with a Derby,Feather or others, More to come Grottolord
Wait...is that 9 passes total? WTG 1-4 ATG 5-7 XTG 8,9 ? I think with 9 passes you'd be able to see my skull through my skin it'd be so thin!!!
