Well, I see two ABC sets. Also an unobtainium brush. Numerous Gem Micromatic razors. Were there complete razors and blade banks in the ABC sets?

there wasn't anyone there to ask to open the case at that point. I haven't been back. If things are relatively quiet, maybe I'll get there tomorrow or saturday morning.

Which are the ABC sets? (just give me a quadrant to look)

Hi, the ABC set is in the upper left section of the photo. It seems to be the prized Empire Edition. The unobtainium brush is on the right I'm not sure if there is another ABC set

Ah, okay - the silver box. I see two brushes, but I don't see what's special about one of them. I guess I'm just not up on unobtainium :)

Hi, sorry. The special brush has a metal band around the bristles.

oh? Why is that special? (I'm actually curious. I've been shaving a long time, but I know almost zip about brushes)

To me it's an indicator that the brush is very old. Circa 1900-1910. It may not be what I think it is though. Certainly not worth more than $15. It needs to be restored.

Looking at it closer, in the overexposed photo (flash), it doesn't look like a metal ring. It looks like a straight section of the handle, with the price tag around it.

In the last photo it seems to be a metal band around the bristles. Also, do you see that khaki/OD green zippered pouch? A pouch like that holds a very rare hybrid Raised Flat Bottom Tech. I can't tell for sure if that is what the pouch is, but it is a possibility. They were made in England.

If you go back tomorrow, post photos of the inside of the ABC set, (remember, it is not an ABC set if it doesn't have a list of patent dates or numbers and their respective country of origin on the bottom outside of the case. ). Also post photos of the brush, and that zippered pouch, inside and out. I'll try to help you ID them and whatever else you might want to know about. If you find a Barbasol Razor in there, they are valuable too.
    Again, good luck!

I won't buy it if I can't try it out, or at least KNOW there's someone that wants it. Barbasol might be interesting to try, however. (Okay, I've tried Barbasol, but I think you know what I mean)

While you can cram a lot in the Honda Fit, it is a small 5 door hatchback. I have owned one for the last 10 years and wished it was a wagon for most of the time.

They do make a wagon called the Honda Fit Shuttle, but it is not imported to the United States.

I drive a Pontiac Vibe, and have since 2003. This is my second. I know what they _call_ the cars, I'm just saying what they really _are_.

Just because it's a wagon, however, doesn't make it big. (the Fit, that is). Mostly, I consider it a station wagon if you can turn the back into an integral storage unit, and it has a lift gate. The Fit folds around for this, the Vibe/Matrix does it, there are a half a dozen cars classified as "Crossovers" that do it. The Ford Focus, however, despite having a similar shape, wouldn't become an integral storage unit. Back seats folded, but only partway to let you shove a few things in.

Yes - most Crossovers aren't SUV's anymore. Heck, they're barely 3 inches taller than my mini-wagon, and it's about the same size as the old Ford Escort. (I had one of those as a wagon too. )

So, the Honda Fit Shuttle is a longer version of the same car, from what I can see, and looks like yet another copy of the Vibe/Matrix. Interestingly enough, they don't make the Vibe anymore, and I believe they may have stopped the matrix.
