Still using my first found-in-the-wild Fat Boy. All the others have been put in the hands of other Users. All traded or PIFed away. The one that made me happiest is in my brothers shave den. If he ever tries another razor it'll be because I sparked his interest. If not, he's got a fine machine. After picking up a SS Flare Tip, then a Red Tip I also got a Blue Tip. I've used all three, prefer the Red Tip. That set has shifted my perspective from User to Collector. I've slowed my purchases since then. Don't want to have equipment I won't use.
Use it. You have a backup. Even if you didn't...there are some amazing restoration experts that can get it looking actually BETTER than new.
