Help me pick out a great super-short stubby razor.

Another option - I do know there was another folding razor that was made in/for Germany around WW-II, I just don't recall the name.

For $8 including shipping it's hard to go wrong. It's a NOS travel Simplex ... a Tech clone.

This was a very old thread, but I thought I'd ressurect it in case current-gen folks search for great super short stubby razors (like I just did).
One solution wasn't included, perhaps because it doesn't HAVE to be stubby... or perhaps because it may not have been available in 2018.

It's the Parker A1R Travel razor. 2-piece handle; only use 1 piece if you want a stubby. It uses a standard thread, so you can use other heads on it if you want. I was using a light, stubby Gillette Travel Tech in my camper, but that handle was just TOO light and TOO stubby. So I tried this one. Wasn't happy with the head. So I screwed on the head from the Gillette Travel Tech and found my perfect combination!
The Parker-Gillette FrankenRazor is now my go-to travel and camper razor.
