Supposed to get down to 48 F. tonight! The "grand lady" (my Labrador Retriever) and I will be out early tomorrow morning for a long walk! Fall is grand, and winter is the best!
We had an absolutely beautiful moonrise here this evening, and now it's about 45º F/7º C under clear and starry skies (overnight low is forecasted at 37º F/3º C ). As luck would have it our local PBS station was airing Moonstruck this evening, so we curled up under La Bella Luna and watched a lovely little film neither of us had seen in years.
The Dog Days of Summer here. Rainy season in the Sonoran Desert is fickle. Rain on the NW Side, none on the Southside. We had a hard fast rain last night. The roof leaked in the kitchen. It's sunny now. High 80s, Humidity 60%.
It's been a wet couple of days. It's been raining enough to set a new local record. And with about 200 rainy days pr year, that is saying something. At least I think it does, I did not notice much difference But the weather is still warm enough to wear a short and t-shirt and the sun is starting to peek through the clouds, so its getting better.
