How's Your Day? December 2016

And the start of a new month is upon us.
Snow on the horizon; many already have more than they want.
Thanksgiving behind us, Christmas and Hanukah only weeks away.

Starting December off with a stuffy head. Not enough to keep me out of work, just enough to wish I was.
Other than that, God is good!

Hope you are feeling better soon. I am looking forward to shooting some new arrows today.

 

People here like to "load up" on shave-related items, which of course is natural. My mom made a bulk order on various kinds of bird seed(wild birds). Smart idea, as all of kt should last her through the winter. Where do I come in? I'm the one who has to go get it and load my car with it all. Might do it today, as the pick-up is scheduled for today, but my Mom has a toe surgery today and may call them to see if we can get it tomorrow. She misplaced the sheet with the address, phone #. We figure they'll call today with "Hey, you OK?". Anyway.............the ride back with all the food bags should be interesting, whether it's today or whenever.

Good Luck! That sound a lot more difficult that shooting targets, arrows must be a lot harder to hit.

 

She needed a challenge, the pie shooting was too much of a ... cake walk.

A few months ago, we got a smart thermostat, courtesy of our electric company. This month, when I checked our gas bill, I found that we don't have one; the gas company owes us almost $100. I guess they were right about those thermostats being more energy-efficient.

We're on a budget plan. Works well because the monthly payments are all set. We settle at the end of the year. Some years we pay them, some years they pay us. Usually not more than a couple hundred dollars at the most either way.

 

We are as well. It is rare to have this big a credit, for us.

 

I heard that phrase in a political debate years ago-"C'mon, you know that dog won't bite!"
