How's your day? December 2017

ahh,the years when music was upbeat and fun!

 

Recurve archery is. Compound archery (the style I shoot) is not yet.

 

How' s everyone doing? I haven't been on here in a while. I have four chemo treatments left, which I should finish by late February. I've lost 50 pounds, but no hair, so I look pretty good for a sick guy. I've been spending the money I used to spend on razors on fedoras instead. I look a great deal sharper. Fedoras don't make me bleed.

 

Wife and I went to my son's college Christmas concert that he sang. It was a good time.

Probably not. BTW, we did watch the Archery in the 2016 Olympics. They covered it well so we enjoyed watching.

 

I was at the hospital all morning with my little(st) girl this morning. She was burning up last night with a fever of 41°, which somewhat broke overnight...until she started getting really sick this am. We left early this afternoon to come home.

She's still a pale little zombie, but she's determined to play for a little bit tonight, before she finally crashes tonight in bed.

Thanks! No we don't. The best the doctors could tell was that it is some stomach bug. They even ruled out a reaction to the flu shot we all just got. Ruby has some interesting health issues, so whenever she gets so much as a cold, it's about 5x worse than it is for anyone else.

Sounds like my son in his younger years. Spiking a 104-105 F (40-40.5 C) fever seemed the norm when he got sick. Tepid baths were the norm.

 

Poor kid. She looks miserable. Tell her there are a lot of people all over the world who are thinking about her and praying for her to feel better quickly.

 

I gave her one Saturday evening... unfortunately only the chewable Tylenol worked (which made her gag...but she hated the liquid)
