Up at 4:30 to head to the office for about 2 hours and drive back down to my area. First thing I found out this morning was I won a give away, which already started the day off on the right foot.

well, my day didn't "staaaaaat"too well, as I stood in a cold shower. Can't do much in that situation, but I did manage to clean my underarms. Did a cold-water shave(with canned cream).

It is warm in Wisconsin, today. Very pleasant and balmy 37 degrees outside.

In other news, I shaved off my beard (1st one I've grown in 11 years) and decided I like shaving now that I don't have to rush through the process to get kids to school in the morning. Night shift rocks, sometimes.

Bean sprouts grow into beans. I eat beans.
Do Brussels sprouts grow into Brussels? I've never had a Brussels.

Done right (lots of bacon!), I will eat Brussels sprouts.

Not really a serious question. More along the lines of, "How can you tell if you've run out of invisible ink?"

Yesterday woke up at 0300 with the chills so bad I was rattling the bed. Fell back to sleep, and the alarm got me up at 0545. I usually beat the alarm by 5 or 10 minutes. Shaved and dragged my butt to work. After work I went home, walked the dog, and crashed in my recliner 'til this morning. Feel 100% today. Three day weekend coming, so I should be back to normal by Tuesday. Have a good 'un.

Your dog can serve as a therapy dog in this case-to make sure you STAY at 100%. :)

So, it started off at Grover's Mill(yes, that Grover's Mill, the one where the Martians landed, according to Orson Welles) Coffe House. A nice Sumatra with just a little half&half, some errands and breakfast at Fame, a restaurant two towns over Now there is some yard work to be performed, after which I do believe a nap will be in order.
