RetLEO-07 likes his penguin deep fried, with pink sparkles

From that look, I'd say really short.

Well, then a Manhattan is a good choice. It's my favorite cocktail.

sol92258 I have no earthly idea

Survived the weekend with cough/cold/maybe flu? Actually, the entire past week. Still have a cough, son still has a cough, but daughter is 100%, and wife never got anything. She and I had reversed roles for this round, usually I don't get sick. Oh well.

Finally, one bit of good news from the past 6 months. Don't recall if I mentioned how my 2017 started - lost/stolen wallet. Then the lengthy costly time consuming endeavor of cancelling financial cards, replacing ID and insurance cards, and other items in said wallet, including wallet, and though none of the cards had been used by time I made the discovery, still the looming cloud of what may be to come with my personal info out and about....my wife wakes me up Friday afternoon, checks my temp (down to 101.2 at that point), casually mentions she met our new down-the-street neighbor who stopped by to ask if our address number was ***, and said she found this in her backyard, and hands me my wallet. I grab it and and say "cool" and fall back asleep. About an hour later I wake up, fever down below 100, look at the wallet and shout "holy crap! I thought I dreamed that!" :D
Seriously, that's simply amazing. I had a serious hope that some 4 legged critter had grabbed it and ran in the woods with it (which we scoured pretty well), but the fact that some receipts were on the ground (they don't just fall out of this wallet), I knew someone had picked it up, found the $ in it (one of the very few times there's actually money in it - and that was going in the bank the next day after I had put it in there) and took it.
But, everything was in there. Unbelievable. Hoping it's a sign that all this crap we've been dealing with the past several months is about to turn around - though we did get another sucker punch when I did taxes Saturday :angry032:
