We are already hectic as it is. Robins schedule is set, but I still have class, nights with Leif (Robin goes in at 4:30 am) tax class, and time time to shave. ( had to throw three things in :p)

Yes, and no. Figure out your terms this weekend. Money, schedule and whatever it would take to make the job work. Talk to your friend. If they need you and want you, they may be able to meet both. If they can't, walk away. No harm, no foul.

Thankfully not painful, but itchy. And I feel incredibly tired. But at least it it's caught at an early stage.

That is key, and so along as it isn't anywhere near your eyes, you should have a relatively speedy recovery!

My first & last episode was back in 1979…but they say it's always lurking…..:scared007:

    Measles make you bumpy
    And mumps'll make you lumpy
And chicken pox'll make you jump and twitch
    A common cold'll fool ya
    And whooping cough'll cool ya
But poison ivy, Lord'll make you itch!!

Good, I had shingles a few years ago, went to the doc early and got some meds to reduce the symptoms and it wasn't too bad.

When we had our first child we decided that Becky would leave the Air Force (where I met her. I was in, also) to raise our kids. We didn't want someone else being called "Mommy" because the only person the kid ever dealt with was the care taker.

That said, when people would ask me if my wife worked, I would always reply, "Oh, yeah." Staying home and taking care of what needs to be done around the house, along with all that goes on with child raising, is WORK! Does it make $? No, but the reward of being there for your kid's first words, steps, etc., not to mention being there when they are sick and need Mom or Dad the MOST...

It has yet to be uttered from the death bed, "I only wish I had spent more time at work."

Just got over a case of shingles myself. The Doc caught it early, but me on an anti-viral med, and it cleared up pretty quick. Not near as painful as the stories I've heard.

    Get well soon!

Thanks for all the good wishes. Right now, I feel like I just ran a marathon, but I know this will pass.

Well, 2.5 weeks later and still no interviews. :/ For a city that posts 20+ jobs a day that I am qualified for, they sure don't seem like they are hiring.

That being said though, as soon as I get a job, this baby is mine!!

I'll be bringing her home (renting with option to purchase) as soon as I sign my contract.... When it comes...lol!

Been wanting to learn to play for years, and so I'm just gonna go for it.

I just had to share, I'm really excited!

back home already after early morning carpal tunnel surgery. nice people at the outpatient surgery center. my son as my personal chauffeur. hydrocodone waiting in the wings once the initial pain-killers subside. more importantly, my lovely wife has brought me my first cup of coffee of the day... hallelujah! and now, the rehab begins. after nearly a year of chronic pain , i am overjoyed at the prospect of being restored…:):happy093:
