I bought Rosewater...Now what?

Man I wish I could find the poster for this.

It was an ad by Palmolive from the 50's on how to get a perfect shave in 10 minutes

The last step was to decant some alum into some rosewater. It was a pretty interesting poster, I'll have to find it and post it here.

 

Splash it on liberally and be prepared to smell pretty, oh so pretty, so pretty. Smell pretty and witty and bright!



Or, smell like an old church lady. Ya know, whatever.

 

"Pretty and Witty and Bright" ... sounds like a law firm about to take you to the cleaners ... and all the while using rosewater in the process!

Great thanks guys, just what I needed. Something else I didn't have and was happily ignorant about its very existence. I guess I'll start online shopping this week!

 

I add it to my drinking water, especially in summer as rose water is very cooling.

Was reading about it being used as aftershave so will try it tomorrow with a couple of drops of lemon juice added in.
