Gotcha The reason they can sell em so cheap is probably they are sourcing them from overseas and in bulk... For one of the top slide cases I would probably charge 10ish for it, with like 2 bucks shipping. I have tooling leather dies as well, I could monogram initials for extra charge or do fancy scrollwork around edges. For extra few bucks of course. But I would need to get the stuff first, getting ahead of myself lol

Do you think this concept would translate well as a camera bag? My wife does photography, and this style of bag would look really cool. I'm going to check out some thrift stores to see if I can find some jackets with cool patterns. I need to add my name to your list..our anniversary is in March...soooo is that enough heads up time?

I think if made to about 5" depth instead of 2.5 it would work pretty well! I have a tan cashmere coat I just got that would look awesome as a bag. Some others as well. If you want I can PM ya.
This is gonna be my makers mark. I'm gonna make it a bit smaller and put it in a more inconspicuous place. I will do it in different colors for different bags to best complement the look. and I'll get better at it so it'll look smoother.
Excellent workmanship @ youngunn! It's too bad man-bags have never really caught on. The only pants I wear now-a-days are Propper BDU's. I find them more comfortable than jeans and the LARGE amount of pockets can't be beat, except possibly by a man-bag.
