I see Karl, Roby and I, were on the same wave link.....Yesterday I grabbed a one+ pass BBS with my early E2..... Great minds, huh....

Yep! The early E's....E1 and E2s that open.....well, all E's for that matter......Absolute masterpieces....Schick, the good Col. invented a better mouse trap....and Octavius Rodrigues tooked Schick's designs and came up with the Symplified Automatic C types....BAM! Then immediately hit with the D type, one year later, the E type....and all injector types ever since have been variations on that....But have they actually improved upon Rodrigue's vision? I don't think so...When you think he held the patents for everything til the Hydro-magic lever....and thats very hip...but the shaving head is still Octavius.....Even the Hussy was Octavius' Hussy first!...ha,ha....

So aside from @twhite , I don't see that mankind has done much in the way of improving our shaving tools since the E type....And earlier....ER 1909 is my honey....in the late 40's we got the Hussy....the 1909 is my Honey:sexe:....

BTW.....where is @twhite ? Haven't seen him around the Party Thread lately.....The Party is not the same without him.....it's like having a crew bar party on a cruise ship without tequila! :shocked003:

    Atta Boy! Well Done!
    You've been doing SEptember.....very nicely....
We need to all take note of which SE's we have been using this month....and please share or reshare, whatever special memories or impressions you have draw from this month's SE activities.....Lets take an account now, so we can be sure to fit in any SE activities we still want to do, before the end of SE month....
    ONLY ONE WEEK LEFT !!!!!
Course....every month is SE or Injector month pretty much, in my universe! };^))

I'll run down the SE's I've used so far this month....
    GEM:
1 shave: Damaskeene- the one with the flat beveled edged blade cover...
1/2 shave: (shave-off) OCMM- pre bumps on blade tray
    ER:
    1 shave:1914 Little Lather Catcher-early model
    1 shave:1924 Last model
App. 18 shaves: 1909 New Ever Ready-First Shovelheaded Lovely

    Injector SEs
    1/2 shave: (shave-off) PAL Injecto-matic- British made
    Schick
    1 shave: E2-early
2 shaves: Schick Simplified Automatic C3
1 shave: Eversharp Fashion Razor-aka the Hussy

Everything I tried this month was actually outstanding.......
Damaskeene was excellent and very mild....
    1914 was perfect as always...
1924 also perfect....the 1914 and 1924 are both practically perfect in every way!
Schick C3 could be my favorite injector...
E2 is still the quintessential injector and a must have for any shave cave...
OCMM...hmm...not as agressive as it's cracked up to be....and very easy to use...kind of fool-proof...but in this shave-off, the PAL Injecto, shaved closer with fewer touch-ups....
PAL ...lives up to it's rep.....effortless BBS machine...no drama, just fast and smooth
Hussy....she's the hottest travel-jector.....and looks great in a pair of nylons....imho
ER 1909 New Ever Ready....my all time favorite...not for any one special reason...just fits ME perfect...Never fails to deliver....My idea of how I want my shaving experience to go...uncanny balance of aggressive, smooth, and low impact on my skin....face feels untouched, but dolphin smooth...

Rest of this month, I'll improvise and keep you informed....

I was winning one at auction, and it was withdrawn. Maybe for the good, as I am probably too impatient to prepare the blades for action. Great insight into the Razor by Bob.

Shiver me timbers! This Glacial Eskimo Tuksedo soap is cold! Excellent shave with the PAL Injecto-Matic and this soap performs beautifully while serving up a major arctic blast. Three wonderful chilling passes for a dolphin smooth finish. Have a great day friends. :)
