    ....Denim cream and after shave.
....used every knight vintage barber beard oil for pre shave.
    ......Semogue Synthetic

second shave with the Ever-ready 1914 and 1st time using the PAL Carbon blades. I read recommendation from wchnu, the original safety2 forum and I LOVE these sharp carbon blades!!! i got 3 10 blade vaults and i may get more. I feel like i got the closest irritation free shave of a lifetime !! the 1914 and PAL... match made in heaven.

You're a Good Son....I on the other hand bought my Pop a Trac II back in the day...He thanked me and said he loved it...Later I got him an Atra....Years later after I got him a Mach 3 I discovered all those cartridges in a box in the closet...

He had been using an old Schick L type the whole time and just being nice to me and saying how much he appreciated those razors....lol! My Pop was too hip! And I was very blissfull as in Ignorance is Bliss! :happy097:

Yep, my Pop was always serious about shaving...Back when Goldfinger came out, I was a kid and at Christmas I tried to get him to switch to a Gillette Slim like James Bond used....Dad wouldn't budge...He was using an I2 Hydro-zilla at that time...He said you know the real James Bond would be using an Injector and probably one with the hydro-magic lever, since he was so into gadgets...lol!

The razor head is a Schick J, the handle was a limited edition in the 1970s. The handle was made by Revere and was a premium coupon prize redemption.

Schick G and J are the injectors I really know and like. Really close shaves, nice long-lasting blade, intuitive angle design.

I was running late for work this morning (covering a day shift) so no picture. I stormed through a shower and then had a awesome shave. Used my JR #137 KMF cool mint cream with my E2. This razor will teach you about the no pressure rule if your not careful. Today was a smashing shave. 2 lather passes with a witch hazel touch up left me smooth. No irritation and almost no burn from the barbasol brisk AS. Awesome!!!!!

Damaskeene/Blue Star. Effortless BBS for the beard, more buffing than other more aggressive razors on the head shave but excellent results. Love the post shave feel of the Tabac.[IMG]

Anther MAYhem shave is in the books using a DE blade in the shovelhead. The shave was smooth and efficient even though I managed to give myself a weeper under my lower lip. The other issue with using a DE blade in the shovelhead is that you ruin the second side of the blade when you close the cap because the clasp rubs against the edge. The shaves are close but not as close with a Gem blade and there is a lot of chatter with the blade as well. Overall a neat experiment that was a success! Have a great day everyone!
