With all the talk of razor museums lately, I went surfing for one and stumbled onto this site.. http://www.creekstone.net/razors/ It is called the Internet Museum of Safety Razors and seems to be quite well stocked. The site could prove to be a valuable razor resource...
Not much on there really. Looks like he gave up 13 years ago. The last revised date I see is 1999. Aside from Achim's most awesome and valuable web site at http://www.mr-razor.com and (*cough* *cough*) mine at http://www.renaldo.us , here are 2 very nice web sites for razors: http://www.collectorsencyclopedia.com/ricerca2.asp?What=Select&IdArt=saf&IdArt2=saf1 http://www.shaveworld.org/home/shave_encyclopedia.php?category=Safety Rodd was keeping his up for a while but i think life has been keeping him very busy these days. His web site is at http://www.razorgeek.com .
I saw the 'Internet Museum' when i started collecting - very limited range and not nearly as useful as the ones Jody mentioned
It appears as though you people may be right about the site and given this light I won't fight. Those other sites you posted look really good and thanks for that Jody they've now been duly bookmarked. Well guess it's back to the ol' drawing board..
I'm all about some shameful promotion - all of those sites I listed, and more, are all available right from my web site.
So far my favorite razor resource site is Mr. Razor..it's fairly comprehensive, got great pics and easy to navigate. It'll take a while to digest and get familiar with these new ones but it's gonna be useful to have added more razor resources to my vintage data base...
