    RyX DoH!

    Thank you kind Sirs!

Of the Quarter Moon Tuxedo knot? I haven't purchased one. Yet. I did get interested in the shape of knots when I found a Rubberset 400. They were fitted with a tall lofted flat top boar knot. Everything else I was seeing was bulb shapes, with a few fans tossed in as a tease. I found an Etsy dealer that was making their own flat top boar knots but they wouldn't sell just the knot. I think it's referred to as "The Rowl" - black and white handle with a nice example of a flat top badger knot? These 1/4 moon synths are as close as I'll get to that when I build my next brush.

That soap looks like it will be a goner pretty soon, Clint. That Oneblade has seen lots of use from you the past few months, as well.
Glad to hear the new Clubman is a keeper, Jim. I have the sheep version of that soap, and it is probably my strongest scented soap, fwiw.
You've made me realize I haven't brought the Clubman out in a while. You've inspired me to bring it out for Friday.
That Darwin handle is just stunning, Mark.

Great lineup and photo Amigo. You hadn't posted in a few days so I was worried you might have fallen into that cold river. ;)

Yes indeed that soap will soon be gone. I have enjoyed it but I am ready to move on as well. The OneBlade is seeing a lot of use. I have pretty much settled on it being my primary Monday - Thursday razor which takes care of most of the work week but allows variety on the remaining days. In the past I always seem to gravitate to 1 or 2 razors and use them more than any others until I get bored. Just a quirk of my personality.

I once did about 800 miles over the course of about 20 hours on a sportster. It was mostly on interstates, with an average speed of about 90 mph. I slept for 18 hours when I got home. I miss having a bike, but don't know if I could handle those kind of rides on small bike anymore.

Sportsters aren’t exactly the most comfortable bikes to travel on.

Shaved early this morning, but didn’t have any time to post until now. 2nd use of the Latha. It is not quite up to the quality of the Glissant or Reserve bases, but still produced a fine lather, albeit without the usual level of B&M scent. A nice and smooth 3 pass shave was followed up by the excellent Florida Water and I am refreshed.
    Have a great day all!
