    Face & Head Shave:
Pre-shave: hot shower & Nivea Men Sensitive Face Wash
    Brush: Barburys by Sibel synthetic
Soap: Arko stick (courtesy of @SharptoothC)
Razor: Gillette Fatboy adjustable E-4 (setting #7)
    Blade: Feather (approx. 7 uses)
Post-shave: Assured WH, Nivea Men Sensitive PS Balm, Proraso Sandwood AS

Since it's Gillette Adjustable Friday, I went with the Fatboy today dialed in at 7. This Feather blade is still going strong, so I'll keep using it until it surrenders. The Arko lathered extremely well... this is only the second time I've used Arko and a soap stick. I'm impressed! I concluded today's ritual with the Proraso Sandalwood, inspired by Jim @Norcalnewb who used it the other day. I've no complaints about today's shave at all. :)

I may not shave this weekend, but I'll try to keep up with the posts. The wife's birthday is Sunday and we'll be busy the next couple of days.

Have a great weekend, my friends. Enjoy your shaves as well as the company friends and family. Now, I'm going to spend the next couple of hours catching up on the posts. :lam:

I had two cuts today. Possible theory.....with the Rte 66 Soap dwindling, does that mean it loses its slickness, too? I'll have another go at it tomorrow to see if this makes sense, but I welcome comments.

No, dwindling soap doesn’t translate to reduced quality. Sometimes when the soap gets low you have to load longer.

Finished off a fruitcake a few nights ago. :eatdrink020: (Bring on the fruitcake jokes!)

I've been in both ends of Residential Home construction & destruction. I prefer careful deconstruction and repair these days. Easier on the back and knees. Got plenty of hammers of all sizes.

This is a job for a couple jack stands and a refrigerator sized cardboard box to lay on. The rest is one bolt at a time , then snatch the tranny out. Been there, done it. It'll be the last time I do this vehicle's clutch. It a '86 and I've owned it maybe 15 years. Not sure if I want to go older (all Imperial tools), something similar (a mix), or newer (mostly or all metric). Being a first year Ranger King Cab I wouldn't want to do a regular cab. Got used to having the extra space behind the seat. Dual fuel tanks are nice, too.

Mine is a regular cab. It can get crowded. Newer at a 94 model.
In other news I picked up some brass polish. I got some shiner raxors. Woo

It's getting almost confusing with these settings. Setting Neal to Neal's favorite setting. So 9 to 6. Since I don't normally use "my" setting, but have a favorite setting of "mine" at 6, does that mean that Setting Neal is 6 unless 9 is preferred by the non-Neals who then use 9 in spite of 6 being my personal and 9 being my type of setting based on other experiences? Y'follow? And has anyone else noticed that the two settings associated with me are 9 and 6, the upside down versions of each other? Does that mean that either way I'm upside down, or perhaps we should all shave upside down so that 9 is 6 and 6 is 9. Or is this entire process of figuring it out not only upside down but a reversed mirror image of logic?
