True, but that pic was from the adult film awards, and you DO NOT want to know what my prize was.

Funny enough, you are correct in that assertion. I own and wear a traditional blue seersucker suit. Wear it all the time in the summer. Here is a photo of me and Wilson from Easter Sunday this past April. I wear bow ties almost exclusively when I wear a suit.

Great photo and shave Jim. Brisket on the Egg is a fantastic start to any weekend.

Great photo and writeup Joseph. I see you are a MW Fan as well.

What a great photo Randy. Happy Father's Day.

Wonderful photo and report Jared. Just to show you YMMV, I had the EJ version of the same brush and didn't enjoy it much at all.

    Great report.

Happy Father's Day Jim. That is one good looking razor.

    Happy Father's Day Patrick.

I get a kick every time you post a picture with that mug. Happy Father's Day.

We made it home about an hour ago. The girls had a stack of gifts for me on Father's Day. Off in a few to shower and shave after a long day in the car.

What’s interesting to me about that comment, is that lately I have found myself enjoying my three band brushes way more than usual, and maybe I was liking the softer splay? It still has a lot more backbone than a Plisson type or a Tuxedo, but definitely not what the Simpsons have. Loosely assuming the fibers are the same (or similar enough that they can be mistaken for the same), I’m not sure if it’s a loft thing or a density thing. Or both.

It would seem that perhaps a synthetic shave-off is going to be necessary.

I will say there is a huge difference between the 24mm and 30mm Tuxedo. The 30mm is very similar to the CH2 Synthetic. My experiment with the EJ STF V2 was early in my BAD and I was set on 2 band badgers. My thoughts could be much different now.

I have a 30 and a 24 also, but I’ve only had one shave with the 30. Hmmm. Now you’ve got me thinking.

Maybe July is going to be a synthetic focus.

Speaking of brushes, I got an unexpected Father's Day gift. @Linuxguile and I once used the Satin Tip 'The Purest' synthetic brush a lot, and then mine disappeared. I think he still has his. Wilson probably grabbed it off the counter, and he used to put things in the trash or recycling and they would be bagged and dumped as they should, without searching through it. Well......my wife just found the Satin Tip. He had put it in one of her shoes, I guess a pair she hasn't worn in a while.

So, the Satin Tip has made it back in my den. Unexpected gift!
