Well I did see Lego Batman this morning. I liked it but don't know if it was better than the Lego Movie. I was the only one in the theater which is how I like it. No distractions. In fact I think I was the only non employee in the entire theater. Sent from my Nexus 5X using Tapatalk
Took today off from work to get a haircut, take care of some personal business and went to see "La La Land". I had no desire to see this movie, however I get this phone text from a former girlfriend who I haven't talk to in over a year telling me, "You MUST see this movie". Well my verdict is it is a nice adult comedy/drama/musical film that you should take your wife or girlfriend too. I think the hype I've been reading about this film is a little over done. Still it is not your typical Hollywood film and the ending is quite interesting.
I went to see La La Land when it came out. I wanted to see it. And I ended up hating it. The songs to me are forgettable and seemed forced, nothing clicked for me. And I love musicals. Sent from my Nexus 5X using Tapatalk
The Public Enemy (1931). I thought it was a great example of early gangland movies. James Cagney was a great bad guy, and you should watch it for the cool message at the end of the movie. I give it 8/10. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
That's one of the most epic Marvel flicks yet! My oldest son came to visit my wife and I for the weekend, and said we HAD to see The Revenant, so we watched it last night. It's worth watching solely for the scene with the bear. I give this one a solid 9/10. Don't believe the horrible reviews on IMDB for this! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
The Last Samurai. I am not a Tom Cruise fan, but this film was a great story, and I think he pulled it off well.
