Yea, come to find out we were out of dishwasher soap , toothpaste and fish food. Lord forbid. I think the whole urgency was to eventually get me to the truck lot. Momma wants a new pick up. She's so short she can barely see over the steering wheel. The truck she has already has a stool in the floorboard she puts on the ground so she can get in. I thought for sure her next vehicle would be a car. Oh well, back on topic. Video tom. I hope it helps. Made a short 2 minute or so video of how much water and how I make lather. I'm having trouble getting it to upload. Stand by.
Ahh, the Times I had a dishwasher.. Good Times =P Of course we have to prioritize. It's no problem, I'm not in a hurry =P you are kind enough to make a video. Who am I to dictate the terms hahaha. That's really funny, a Smart car would be better, small enough for her to see over the stearing wheel plus easy to park =P I used My loccitane shave soap in SOTD and a new bowl. I got a nice and rich lather! =) But I would love to see your video anyways if you get it up on the forum =) I think I gave grated the Palmolive shave stick into a too small bowl, this makes it hard to load the brush properly. I THINK that is the problem I'm having.
Sounds like it, if you dont have enough room to work your brush, you cant make lather. OH, ITS BECOME A QUEST NOW, when I get home Im gonna transfer the movie to my comp and try to upload it from there. ONE WAY OR ANOTHER, I'll get it posted. OK, I found out whats up. The movie is too big to upload, I cant get it out of my phone. I'll do it over tom and change format size.
HOOTY HOO! I got it done, finally! Now, its just a minute and a half long but it may help some folks. It's watchable now. Just click on the movie and it'll play.
LOL that was really not what I did. But it looks very good, thanks alot. You really love the VDH products. PS: you should be the voice in the intro for movies hahahaha I thought about that too
And shorts brother! The beautieful gulf coast, home sweet home, Panama City Beach Florida! Nice here, in the shade. I truly do like VDH stuff. I kinda consider it "the common mans goods" Sold everywhere, as you can see in the video, works very well EVERY TIME, get more than you pay for. I have tons of shave stuff but yes, I love me some Van Der Hagen. Did the video help any? I wasnt joking when I said I use tons of water. you can see it still dripping off my brush when I put it in the mug.
Too far south. Then again, Cape May, NJ is almost too far south for me. I'm right across the river from Philly, where all four seasons are about equal - just the way I like it!
Im gonna try this method next time =) looks like it works pretty well! To bad I cant find it in Sweden. I haven't seen them anywhere. In sweden we are very limited, we cant just Walk into a supermarket and buy shaving soaps =\ very few stores offer shaving products and the online stores are "expensive" because everything is imported =P
Man, that stinks. I had no idea you were so limited in choices. VDH in my opinion is top shelf stuff, at more than fair prices. Soaps are basic, no huge choice of scents but the scent is very nice. No bay rum , monkey farts etc. but smells very nice none the less. Their brushes are well worth more than they cost. I just havent been let down by anything VDH yet. I trust the name. (WOW, VDH should pay me! I sound like a spokesman)
It's okey though, I can get a variety of stuff, but I'm just saying it's not as easy as it is for you =) I got some good stuff that smells amazing. I would recommend the l'occitane shave soap. I really love it
