Looking at shortening a Lady's Schick

Hey there I'm looking at buying a Schick, but the one I'm looking at (for the price) has a long handle. I like shorter handle razors and was wondering if anyone here has shorten a schick. Pictures would be great. Thanks

 

I dunno about shortening the handle, but I did remove the head from a G model and sent it to Rudy Vey and he spun a pen blank into a handle for me. I suppose you could do something similar to create a short handle. As you can see, I wanted a longer handle.

 

Not trying to be difficult but why not just buy a short handled E or G for $10 and call it a day?

I think the Lady Schick has a release bar on the bottom for cleaning. That is my guess.

 

You got it! I'm looking at a Hydro Magic long handle with a release.

You can get an I2 with the hydro-magic handle that's short or you can get a lady's K3 but the K3's are hard to find.

 

Yes. I2 is a fabulous razor, handle just a bit longer than the E, G and PAL.

I've been looking, just getting a little impatient for a good price. Anyways I like to Frankenrazor my stuff. I know terrible of me.

 

Even the PAL looks great. Do they open?

 

No. But frankly I never open my E2 or I2 for cleaning.

Same head, different handle. Probably cheaper to find a decent condition I than a K.
