Pretty sure the Williams scare has been de bunked. Of course it keeps resurfacing every few months, so who knows, maybe this time around it is true. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Pre de Provence shave soaps are pretty darn good soaps at a fair price. They are quad milled (I think) so they last darn near forever. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I'll reiterate the Stirling recommendation. However, I recently used my long-ignored Proraso red soap (because, y'know, it's *boring* compared to these independent micro boutique soap companies!) and I remembered just what a *great* soap it is.
As mentioned samples are the best way to get variety for a cheap price, and you can try the product out without being stuck with something you don't like.
Without really knowing what your budget is, my votes go to: 1) Mystic Water 2) Proraso 3) RazoRock 4) Stirling 5) Mike's Natural
"budget is super limited" - not sure what that means as too an actual dollar figure. There are so many top notch soaps available for under $15 - Stirling, Barrister & Mann, Captain's Choice, Cella, Proraso, et cetera. You can't go wrong with any of these - you just need to decide on the scent. Any one of them is less expensive than buying the (chemical enhanced) shave cream in a can.
Also am on a fixed income. Higher end soap and it lasts is D. R. Harris in Windsor, lasted for over 18 months. Sent from my LG-H820 using Tapatalk
I love tallow + lanolin so MFW and Shannons shave soaps are some of my top. MWF refill puck is 14.99 on the bay shipped (maybe cheaper somewhere else) and Shannons soaps are 11.99/tub plus $5 shipping and they come in their own container.
Hi omelmad new here those tubes is that right there $1.70 per tube thats well cheap would they deliver to the uk. I wonder whats your favourite smell out of the coats creams for that price i would buy quit a few.. Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk
I changed my mind. I love Stirling, and you certinaly can't go wrong there. But Pre de Provence is becoming my go-to soap in terms of performance. It's a really hard puck, and weighs in at 5.3 oz, so it's a great value as well.
I'm just going to recommend a few that I have gotten recently that have really impressed me.... Sapone di Paolo - Terrosa & Pulito Shannon Soaps - Woodlands L&L - Darkfall Cold River Soap Works - Juniper Lebelle Soaps - Forest Moss
