Cigars are good. I have a 50stick humidor on the mantle. Like you're supposed to...I was major in to smokes in the mid 90s, remember getting the first Opus X lines. Cigars were ruined for me right out of the gate at 17. My first real cigar ever was a Davidoff 5000 aged Habano purchased in Frankfurt Germany on a life adventure. Still looking for a better smoke. Used to smoke Fuente Curly head everyday, when it was a 1.30 cigar. I think I have a few Padron Maduro perfecto shapes, a couple Perdomo corona size and some bundled Nicaraguan light wrapper Rothschild size that I keep for guests or when a mood strikes. I keep pipes real simple. Straight Virginia, VA/Perique, Aged Burley and 50/50s are what I smoke. I can't do aromatic or flavored tobacco, it just wears me out. Love cigars, just don't do but a few a year. I've been on pipes for a couple years hardcore. You never know....
I'm just getting back to cigars. BK(Before Kids) when Herself and I used to go down to the islands, I used to smoke H Upmann's. Now I smoke mild sticks. With the embargo lifted, in about two weeks I'll be getting some Cubans when she gets back from Italy. I'm looking forward to that.
Similar story, big into cigars in the 90's, my daily was a Cuba Aliadios. Cigars led me to pipes, on and off for years, now back into. Still smoke a cigar or two a year.
Kraut, polish and dogs in the crock for dinner, with a can of beer dumped in. Cottage cheese on the side.
Thai Boat Noodle soup. 6000 Cambodian riel ($1.50). Thai and Vietnamese food is generally lousy in Cambodia but this place in Phnom Penh is the real deal. Excellent. Sent from my Nexus 5X using Tapatalk
I tried pipes. I much prefer the scent of pipe tobacco. I had a cob that I couldn't keep lit, and a pipe PIF'd to me that gurgled like crazy. I got frustrated and PIF'd them both to a friend. Never did catch onto the secret but probably didn't give it long enough. Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk
