Merkur barberpole

    Well I have a Merkur 34 C - HD, and the razor you are looking at is the same size as the 38C, if i'm honest I would say that if i could now choose between the 34C - HD and the 38 C i would go for the 38 C, i think the extra lenght on the handle is more suited to my shaving technique over the shorter 34 C - HD, but that doesn't stop me rating the the 34C - HD very highly, you wont go wrong with the razor you are looking at it's a first class shaver.

    The 38C is an excellent razor. Has a really good feel in the hand, and sports a decent amount of heft.

    Great advice Jamie. I like the short Merkur's myself. I am glad they offer us a choice.

    also, I understand Merkur is having a price increase. timing could be good.
