So since I've been collecting a little more, I want to come up with a stand to hold/display my razors and is both functional and beautiful, allowing the razors and brushes to dry but still displaying them nicely. I would also like to make it something that can be expanded or easily replicated (for when my collection inevitably expands!) What do you guys have like this? Just trying to get some ideas that I might be able to put my own spin on.
i had the same issue as my RAD got worse, so i started by looking at pipe tobacco stands. you will find some creative set ups and arrangements. its a pretty simple DIY project. I think it means more when you can say that you made it yourself rather than purchasing a factory made rack.
I made this a couple of years ago. It is made with some window casing, cove molding, and 1/4 inch plywood.
I think I actually saw a thread that you posted that in before and it was a bit of inspiration for me to start designing one! Thanks!!
me also I ended up making custom shelves for my existing medicine cabinet I used 1/4" plexiglass. it's a work in progress, with post when dinner
Here are a couple of Pics from the stand I made in 1 day from some scraps in my woodshed. Quick, Easy, Effective. I got tired of them laying around the sink and the cabinet.
