G'day Den, I've picked 15 Route 66 shaving soaps to my shopping list and I'm going to order my first 5 soaps below, from the list below what would be your first order top 5 Route 66 full size tub soap for me to order because I've never had Route 66 and I've read great feedback and reviews. Also please tell me about the scent and why do you like it so much. Cheers A Perfect Gent Barbershop Hop Bay Lime Twist Bourbon Jungle Cavendish Cranberry Citrus High Mountain Mint Lavender Woods Lumberjack Perfect Storm Retro Spice Rum Runner Sweeney Todd The Black Pearl Twisted Tweed
I have Bourbon Jungle and absolutely love the scent. Hard to describe but easy to love. Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk
To me, I really enjoyed all the scents from the pass around box. Cranberry Citrus Rum Runner Bourbon Jungle The Black Pearl Lavender Woods These are what I tried and enjoyed. I am sure I am forgetting at least one but I liked them all. Like Stirling, I doubt I could find a bad scent in Rt66
Deffo the cranberry citrus. The performance is great, but that scent! Very powerful, room filling scent that smells as the name suggests.
My absolute favorite is Sweeney Todd. The Cranberry Citrus has the strongest scent and was confiscated by my wife for her use. There isn't what I would consider a bad smell in the lot. Twisted Tweed is my second favorite. Have fun!
Cavendish, Twisted Tweed, Barbershop Hop, Rum Runner, and Lavender Woods are all really nice. I don't think you can go wrong with any of the scents!
Cavendish and Lavender Woods are probably my favorites. Personal choice for you to make if you prefer woody, fruity, earthy, barbershop, etc...
I'm down to 3 Route 66 soaps, but found them all excellent. Cranberry Citrus, Sweeney Todd, and Barbershop Hop are still going strong.
My first and thus far only Rte 66 is Cavendish. Great face-feel and "shave agent"(my quotes). There's no overpowering of scent, but what I get is nice. Because of the "neutral" aspect, I find it could be used with various aftershaves. I might try it with Aqua Velva and Mennen this summer, for instance. As for the company itself, I am looking to purchase another one in the near future. I'm leaning toward Lumberjack.
So far I'm still thinking at the moment as of this stage, I haven't made any order yet so my pick so far are Barbershop Hop Bay Lime Twist Lavender Woods Rum Runner Sweeney Todd I could squeeze one or two more The Black Pearl or Twisted Tweed
Rum Runner by all means. No Bay, but a great smell anyway. Use some VIBR after, and brother you're livin'.
IF I get all 8 tub size soaps is going to cost me nearly $192.80 AUD without international shipping, that would be about $280 AUD in total to have them sent to Australia Barbershop Hop Bay Lime Twist Bourbon Jungle Lavender Woods Rum Runner Sweeney Todd The Black Pearl Twisted Tweed
Ok. At least you would be setup for at least 2 years worth of soap!!! Personally, I have 60 different soaps, 24 are 1oz Stirling samples so I have between 5-8 years worth. Can never have enough variety. Plus, my wife is now using it so I really will only get about half that time. Besides, one order is cheaper, shipping wise, than several. If Rt 66 is your soap, why not grab a bunch. So you will have a different soap for 8 days. That is nothing. I need almost 2 months before I repeat a scent, unless I want to!
