I have heard about filling the brass handle with epoxy, could someone explain how to do this without making a mess of this razor?

Wow that is a doozy, I would either epoxy a brass sleeve inside or solder using a no lead high silver content solder if I planned to re-plate. I have seen on another forum someone had newly machined ball end handles made. Your handle is very ornate the only replacement is probably from another razor.
