New feather AS-D2 is here

One of the first new Feather razors has arrived, Stefan from Nassrasur in Germany has received one and is going to test it tomorrow together with the old model. It's not yet known when they will be available for us.

Looks great I wonder if it will be more aggressive

 

Seems like the baseplate may be different which SHOULD indicate a big more aggression from the razor. Too bad I found the handle a little long for my liking other than that the AS-D1 was a fantastic razor.

Did you click the link and scroll down? You should see a bunch of BW pics of both the ASD1 and ASD2. Apparently the blade gap and projected exposure are identical for both models and the reviewer expects a very similar shave with the new model...

 

I own a Feather ASD2.It is s different shave.Slim but heavy.You have to experiment with the angle because the feedback takes some getting use to.
