Beautiful work, @Jayaruh ! Love that you were able to breathe life back into a deserving injector. And a stand-up move to do it pro-bono for @Morman Bridge .

Can type E and type G handles be easily (successfully) removed and replaced? I've got a type E with a damaged head but a beautiful bakelite handle, and a type G with a wonderful head but a worn handle. Would like to swap the type E handle on to the type G head.

    Thanks.
Swapping handles? I've never done that. I have only replaced. It would be a real trick to "harvest" the donor handle without damaging it. I would start with the one with the damaged head. If you can get it off without damaging the handle then you are home free since it doesn't matter if you damage the "worn" one. I am thinking that maybe heating up the handle may loosen it from the handle.
