New handle on the way.

    I have been looking at this handle on the bay for a while and it seems pretty cool. I like my three piece tech just fine but the ball end just feels kind of slight. My DE89 has a smooth handle and I am afraid of dropping it so I think this new handle is going to see a lot of use and make my neglected three piece razors outshine my TTOs.

    That looks like an ATT Atlas handle with the barberpole knurling. I have one and they are nice handles, although not as grippy as you might think. If you find you want more grip, you may want to try a Weber Bulldog or Sabi T2, both handles have grippier knurling.:)

    I was not sure myself and it's good to know what it is. Any chance of getting a matching head for it? I think my DE89 will live on it most of the time but it's like an extra sock. RAD is.

    You might want to look on the sellers page and see if they have a head that has that satin finish.

    Mine ended up with a Moly Resin™ coated Gillette Old as it pairing.

    I received the handle on Friday and have two shaves on it and I have to say I am very impressed. It's grippy without being over done. Exactly what I was looking for.
