Not really sure why someone would want to shave with say an NOS Fat Boy when can get a good used one and use it. If you are lucky enough to get a NOS razor using it will any make it worth less money. I guess it is up the the person that buys it....if it was me I would not.
Some people have hangups about using a used vintage razor, and I remember reading threads where cleaned sterilized vintage Fatboys were taken apart for repair, and still grungy and filled with soap scum inside. Besides many folks aren't into the razor scene for buying and selling, so dollar value means nothing to them, they may want a Fatboy because that's what Dad had so it's only sentimental value to them.
Been thinking about spending the extra $$ and getting a NOS Super Speed---this would be "mine"---even though I use my vintage Gillettes---they still feel like somebody else's.
