    Whad'ya mean "almost"?!!! :duel: I like stainless, I don't take my blades out until they won't shave anymore, and you can't do that with the old rusty carbon blades.

    Oh blahhh. A feather weight will give a close shave. But I am always good with get a 1912...not a huge 24 fan though. Can we replace shovel head with 1914?

    Carbon steel is smoother. It's like a lady though..gotta take care of it to get the best out of it.

    Some might, but my Featherweight is not worthy. :( I don't currently have a working '14, but I don't remember it being very different from my Shovelheads. Which Shovel do you have, square or round comb? But, to answer your question, by all means, go with a '14. :happy088:

    I have used several different models. They just do not do it for me. Nothing wrong with the shaves at all you know. Just don't like the feel.
