    Fat Tuesday
Today I put my Razo Rock handle on the Old Type. It had a different feel but it made no difference with the shave. The vintage Wilkinson Sword blade removed whiskers like a hot knife through butter. BBS & AGAIG.

Got a real nice DFS, if not for two small spots by my adams apple, it would have been BBS. In the jar I wasn't that interested in this soap, just not a great smell to me. After lathering with the soap, the smell wasn't overpowering, but still probably not for me. Maybe it's just my technique, but it took more effort to get a decent lather than some of the others I have, I was given the soap to try so no big deal.

    Razor: iKon DLC OC
    Blade: Ladas
    Lather: Speick Active
    Brush: hjm Badger

Aftershave: Speick . Axe Shield Sensitive
I've had this Speick Active for some time, haven't used it much, today's shave was fantastic! Here's what I'm noticing with croaps. As they start to lose moisture they get much better! Latherabilty, slickness, even the scent is staying strong. I don't leave the lid off, I just haven't used this product in 6 months, the same holds true with my Cella, Tiki, and a RazorRock.
    Go out and get it!

    SC NEW bar handle
    Wilkinson classic blade, 14th use
Cold River Soap Works, Fall Limited Edition
Vie Long Peleón horse hair brush
    HTGAM alcohol free Scentsless AS

Got a BBS today, nice when it happens. My nose isn't all that sophisticated, so I don't really smell all the subtle fragrances in a soap or aftershave. Having said that, from this soap I get what seems to me a "wood" type scent mostly. I get a slightly similar wood scent, but slightly different at the same time from Catie's Bubbles LPV. It is a very pleasant scent, so I think I'm going to enjoy using this one in rotation until it's gone.
The Catie's Bubbles LPV is my favorite of the 7 soaps and 1 creme that I have right now.

Prep: Hot shower with Nivea Face Wash with menthol, home made PSO
Razor: Kamphe Bros New Model OC, Barber's Favorite straight razor
Blade: GEM PTFE coated SE (5)
Brush: Vie Long Horse Hair 23mm knot
    Soap: Speick
After: Home made ASB, Speick after shave
    Cologne: Aqua H2O

A hurried Darn Fine Shave this morning. The Speick face lathered up thick and slick. The Barber's Favorite and Kamphe Bros. razors had no problem mowing down the stubble. The Speick after shave is protecting my skin and the Aqua H2O will keep me smelling good for the rest of the day.

    Have a blessed day!

That Kamphe Bros. razor looks like a torture device. Love the brush. Awesome straight.

Thank you, Thank you very much. The Kamphe Bros. New Model is a slight pain to load the SE blade, but the pain is worth the gain. I get very good shaves from it every time that I use it. The handle is hollow and the whole razor very light, so I need to be very careful to use light pressure.
