My @oscar11 brush arrived today. It is a beauty. Steve did a great job on it. I had to decide which knot I wanted to set in it, and I decided on the black synthetic. I set it with silicone, so, if I tire of it, I can easily change it out. I will be using it starting with Monday's shave. Stay tuned.
I have been admiring his brushes for years. Now I have one that will be mine until I die. Then someone else can take over.
Bravo! I am a big fan of Steve's brushes (I own 2 and have given 3 as gifts). That one is gorgeous. Love the green color and the black knot is a perfect complement.
I was just going to send you your tracking number. I made a handle I plan on using with a Cashmere knot. It'll probably show up next week some time. Thanks, I appreciate the compliments for some reason I don't care for anything I make. I like making them I just hate sending them out to anybody. I hope to retire in about 3 months if I don't get fired first. I plan on starting to making a few after retirement.
I understand being your own worst critic, but you do nice work. I have one of your brushes and really like the shape of the handle. I look forward to seeing you back at work making brushes. Good luck in your retirement.
@oscar11 I too, love your brush handles. Like others here, I retired a few years ago and love every minute of it. I hope you find as much pleasure in it as I do.
