What's the best way to get a set of pins and washers to use? I have a few straights that should be descaled, and I'm debating on making new ones (either out of wood or acrylic. Might buy some new celluloid - I found a source). In any case, I'm wanting to know 1) a good source, and 2) the right sizes and materials. I'd rather ask those who are already doing it than doing a metric load of searches and comparisons. BW
You can buy it at a good hardware store. Or search for it on E Bay. Maggard’s has it also, counted out for you. Kind of pricey, but easy: http://www.maggardrazors.com/product/brass-razor-pinning-kit-18-x-10/
Thanks. I'm asking because the 'sticky' with the information about stores is 9 years old and nobody's updated it since then.
If you like the domed washers or want to look at different styles/sets, ajkenne4xm3 on eBay is a good option. I have purchased from him and was very satisfied. He does have rod and pin combo sets also. Tom
