I had to have it. Well, that is what I'm calling it. This is a mis-match. The case looks like an old red and black from the 30s. The Tech is an F1, 1960. The insert has been rotated 180 degrees making the razor point to the right. They always point to the left from the factory. The case looks in pretty good shape for its age. I will put one of my NEWs in it. As for the left-handed Tech, I will clean it up and decide what to do with it. It may end up in a pif.
I remember first hearing about left-handed pencils. When you hold it in your left hand, you can read the writing. Most pencils are right-handed.
Ever thought about how they make a tape measure? Hold the tape body in your right hand, put it on something to measure it with the numbers right side up, and you have to hold the pencil in your LEFT hand to make your mark. If you prefer to write with your right hand, you have to use it with the numbers upside-down!
As long as you are measuring, it is ok. If you are a lefty, it works even better for marking. Good point.
Yes, and now I would wish the screw threads were the other way around, for us left-handed shavers. (it's actually more annoying on TTO razors).
