You know, I never thought I would read the words "mystery panties" and "rash" paired together on a shaving forum. If my wife does ever read this, I am going to have to force her to read the whole thread for context.

Good advice. I'm quite sure its not that, Jim. My son has it and it is nothing similar. I've also never had a problem before. I'm sure a specialist would pick it up, if that is in fact what it is, though. Randy's advise is sound to book an appointment with a dermatologist. In this province, you do that through your family doctor, so that's the process I will start, I think. Let's hijack this by asking Jared about the 'parachute panties'...
I'm not sure that is a great idea. I might survive the Sayuri posts, but the pics of the popsicle stick razor would surely get me institutionalized by my better half.
I just checked, it's still in production and this is the 50th anniversary. There's also body wash & deodorant.
I have used the G-Slide with a number of razors and usually just substitute the first letter of anything not Gillette. I think the only type of razor I haven't used with slide technique is the pain stick. Self-preservation keeps me from trying that one.
I have the actual popsicle stick razor on my desk and my other half hasn't had me committed yet. Although the bolt razor on a stick - I think I was close. Very close.
And with all the comments and speculation, nobody has yet raised the alternate theory for the generously sized sexy lingerie: There's an unhappy cross-dresser out there who is missing part of his kit... On second thought, it's a really good thing Jared didn't take the spare panties home, because if he had and they were anywhere near his size, his wife might have had even more questions to ask...
Smells like the Drug Store SEptember!!!! (Stirling Booster) September 21 Razor - M2 Schick Adjustable Injector Blade - (5) Pre - Stirling Mentholated Pre-shave soap Soap - Stirling Ozark Mountain Brush - Jayaruh #46 ASOD - The Veg Two days since my last shave. Feeling about 75% so things are looking up. And, to boost my spirits and motivate me to shave tonight I received my latest package from Stirling. I ordered my wife a sample of the Witchy Woman soap and a full tub of Ozark Mountain for me. Rod threw in a sample bar of Mentholated Pre-Shave Soap. Those of you who have been around awhile know my tendency toward minimalism. Sure I will try any blade and any razor, sometimes in spite of sanity, but my preferred methods and setups don't vary much. Especially when it comes to soaps. For a long time my Mitchell's, Arko and Tabac were all I really needed or cared about. Then the enablers took over. When it comes to pre-shave products I have tried pre-shave oils twice, didn't like them, so just left them out of the equation. But, when the sample bar of pre-shave soap showed up I figured why not. If you look at the ingredients what you really find, in my opinion, is a bar of pre-shave oil. You just lather it on instead of rubbing it on in oil form. You can rinse before lathering or just simply lather over the top. I decided to try the latter. Ozark Mountain is my favorite scent of the Stirling soaps. When I lathered it on top of the mentholated shave soap the added menthol was quite an interesting touch. And, the slickness of the soap was out of control. I had to wash my hands to get all of the slickness off from washing my face. The Injector glided over my two-day growth like it wasn't even on my face. My, my, my. A five day blade on two days growth and it took two passes and a few S-slides to bring the baby in the house, feed it, change it, and put it right to bed. Not one whimper. So here I am, having used a pre-shave product, a razor and blade combination not in my usual wheelhouse, and feeling my face as smooth and soft as it has ever been. This may have been one of my top 3 shaves of all time. And my minimalist tendencies are on the run again.
If we have another year of awesomely dangerous yet somehow amazing shaves we may need to set up a support group for the wives. "Women who love men who are shaving gods/idiots".

Friday September 22 morning Supply Provision Single Edge injector on two-dot plate / Personna ( 14) Neutrogena Skin Clearing Shave Cream Neutrogena Razor Defense Post Shave Lotion I dropped back to the middle plate again on the razor. I now find that it gives me an easy, irritation-free shave. The brushless cream or gel is slick enough that I was able to rinse after my first diagonal pass and then do a second light XTG pass overall without relathering. The result wasn't quite as clean and close a shave as yesterday's two full passes using the third (most aggressive) plate but it is still a satisfactory DFS. I skipped the alum because I could tell there were no hot spots. The blade isn't tugging at all but I think it is becoming a bit dull. Probably time to bank it and load a fresh one. I may also change razors -- I discovered a Pal adjustable in a back corner of my cupboard that I am curious to try. Hope everybody has a good weekend.
That means there's more room until you reach "the line". Go explore the remaining virgin territory, brother! Pre shave soap? Sounds like snake oil, but ironically has me intrigued. The enabled has become the enabler... Dear God, don't let the wives talk to each other!!!! We have to stick together and keep them apart if we want to have any more fun.
