Sunday I decided to make this stand. Figured I ought to put this post here. Didn't know this category existed until midweek. Anyway, played around with a couple ideas for support, finally arrived at this one. Initially posted in the Safety Razor section asking about typical razor sizes. The stand is a bit taller than it needs to be, but that should put things more in reach. Top and bottom started as one board that I split on a band saw, then sanded flat. Razor slots are .5 inch, 12mm = .47 in, so that should work. Forgot to check fit on brush handles before assembly, so I had to whip out the dremel and do some adjustments. Finished the wood with a Danish Oil.

Forgot to mention that this was made of cherry wood. (Probably Prunus serotina)
