That's why I posted it. Secret Old Timers Club stuff.
I was born a week before JFK was inaugurated.
    I've seen things...

I was born 2 years after he was assassinated. I've also seen things, but now I'm beginning to feel things in places I didn't even know I had.

Define "younger." Anyone 35 or older should remember those Life commercials.

Med preps are my go to blade with my 34C. They don't work in all my razors but I find thenm sharp but yet still smooth in my first ole Merkur.

A good combination, in my experience.

A TV commercial that ran for years. Two older brothers get their youngest sibling to try some new cereal that's supposed to be good for you. But Mikey likes it! Just like some of our members that find ways to enjoy otherwise questionable shaving gear.

    jimjo1031 never bloomed myself

For me anyway, Personna Super blades work fine in either mild or aggressive razors

One other point to consider: You will invariably want to try different razors in the future. What doesn't work today could be fabulous on some other razor you discover down the road. Hang onto those CVS blades--they won't spoil, y'know.

Blades that are horrible on my Slim often work well on my Tech, and vice versa.
