Should a properly honed and stropped straight razor

    If used correctly, no.
    Improper or poor technique can make the keenest razor perform less than it is capable.

    What Kevin Said..A Properly Honed SR in Capable Hands will Not Pull & Tug..They Can Pull & Tug in Inexperienced Hands with Poor Technique..Many Don't get Past that Stage & Give Up..:happy088:

    If it was honed by @gssixgun , then it's tip top, in the sharpness department.
    Time to go back to basics:
    1. Proper beard Hydration.
    2. Proper lather slickness. Remember, fluffy lather doesn't mean it's a good lather.
    3. Proper blades angle and speed.
    4. Proper stropping. Poor stropping can kill an edge before you even put it to your face.
