Show off your birth-year Gillette razors!

Wow nice kit. Careful people around here have been known to start massive collections. What would you suggest for a PSO?

 

I hear mammoth oil works real well. I think there's a new brand on the market - La Brea?

 

when they came out with a double flint we were all so excited we evolved.

Here's mine. It is a 1947 Rolls. It is not shave ready any more. I wish I had a Gillette from 1947, but they did not date them that year. I came close to getting a 1947 Aristocrat, but was out bid. I am still on the hunt.

 

Here are my birth year razors; a long and short handled super adjustable, both with the rare Q-1 date code. Since I was born in January of '71 and Gillette switched from the Q code to the R code early in the year, I'm guessing that it's a good chance these are birth year and month razors.

 

I'm a '71 baby as well. I haven't really tried to find one yet, but I do have a long handled Super Adjustable on the way, unknown code. *fingers crossed*

 

No good with a camera but I have both a Red Tip and a Blue Tip 1956.

 

I can't find very many 1982. That's my birth year. Would be cool to find one.
